How to remove and attach the front panel?

The Front Panel may be difficult to move. If you are having trouble removing the panel, it simply requires a bit of wiggling.

How often should I clean the Pre-Filter (Filter 1) and how do I do this?

Please clean the pre-filter every 15 days. You have two options on how to do this:
1- Gently glide your vacuum cleaner through the surface of the screen to clean all the dust.

2- Gently wash with cold water, then ensure that you dry thoroughly before placing back into the Air Purifier unit.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT ENFORCE any pressure on the filter.

The Pre-Filter needs to be changed every 2 years.

How to clean the Activated Carbon Dual Sided Replacement Filter (Filter 2) and when do I replace it?

Clean every 2 months. To clean all you need to do is the following below:

1. Gently glide your vacuum through the surface of each screen in a “VERY SOFT SUCTION LEVEL” until all the dust has been removed.

IMPORTANT: Do Not clean filter 2 with water and DO NOT ENFORCE any pressure on the filters.

The Activated Carbon Dual Sided Replacement Filter needs to be changed every 6 months It can be purchased from:Kleva Range(If used frequently the change icon will light up, indicating it will need to be changed earlier) 

How to clean the HEPA 13 Dual Sided Replacement Filter (Filter 3)?

Clean every 2 months. To clean all you need to do is the following below:

1. Gently glide your vacuum through the surface of each screen in a “VERY SOFT SUCTION LEVEL” until all the dust has been removed.

How often should I clean the Particle Sensor and how do I do this?

The Particle Sensor needs to be changed every 2 months. To clean all you need to do is the below:

1. Ensure the unit is off and disconnect the power cord from the powerpoint

2. Remove the front panel of the air purifier to locate the Particle Sensor.

3. Remove the cover of the Particle Lens and with a dry cotton swab, gently clean the Lens to remove any moisture and residue.

Make sure to not only clean the frames of the lens, but to clean deep within it to clean the particle sensor.

How often should I clean the Negative Ion Generator and how do I do this?

You will know it’s time to clean this area when it begins to make a creaking sound. With a small brush clean the dust around the Negative Ion which is located on the back of the Air Purifier on the upper left-hand side.

FAQ's

Is the Air Purifier noisy?

Not at all. Although for people who are light sleepers we've added a night mode setting to make the air purifier even quieter and even dims the lighting.

How many watts/hr (Kilowatt hours)?

The Air Purifier runs at about 0.80 Kilowatt per hour

Why does the Air Purifier turn off when the unit is being picked up?

The Air Purifier has a safety trip button on the base of the unit. It is designed to act as a safety feature for the electrical system. The product is required to be on a flat surface to work, therefore, the unit will turn off once raised from the floor. 

Does the air purifier remove moisture in the air?

Not particularly. An Air Purifier filters the air and removes any harmful or irritating particle, it does not remove such moisture from the air.

Does the air purifier need to be in the middle of the room or against a wall?

Keeping it in the middle of the room helps the Air Purifier to filter the air as fast as possible.

Is it battery powered or mains operated?

No batteries are needed. Simply put the purifier's cord into the closest electrical plug. 

How big is the Air Purifier?

It's designed to be 65cm high, 19.5cm wide, and 37cm long. 

What’s the recommended time frame to use daily?

The Air Purifier can be used for up to 8 to 12 hours daily. It can be used until the colour coded allergen index is displayed as green, leave it for a few hours, and then check to see whether the air quality needs filtering again. 

How big of a room can this purify?

The Remedical Active Air Purifier can purify a room sized 22-38 m2

Can this be left on overnight?

Yes it can. The Air purifier has been designed with a Sleep mode option, where it will turn off the control panel lights and function at a low speed, keeping that fresh air even when you sleep.

How to reset the indicator that reminds you when to change the filters?

The Air Purifier has a filter change reminding function which is set at 1500 hours. Please replace filter 2 and filter 3 when "Change" icon lights up. Please press the child lock button for 5 seconds to reset this function.

Can the Air Purifier be used on Carpet?

The air purifier has a safety button located on the bottom of the unit, which will turn off the unit when this is not pressed in. The air purifier can be used on carpet; however, we recommend adding something flat under it to avoid the unit switching off.

Do you Stock Replacement Filters?

What is Sleep Mode and how do I activate it?

The display panel and light will turn off when sleep mode is activated and the motor will only work at low speed. The timer setting is available during this mode and your Air Purifier will enter standby mode after the time setting has finished. Press any button to exit sleep mode. Sleep mode will not automatically switch on after any period of time.
