It definately is cooler than my solid memory foam pillar. It does take time to get the right support. It is very hard at the start. Then remove some of the filling and keep it in a ziplock bag. What is left will soften, but it will also move. I find I need to push the filling into my neck cavity so my head is cradled in a hollow, otherwise my head will push the filling back and end up on nothing if I start with my head on the edge. Now that it has softened, I am going to put some of the filling back and see how that works.
